3.4.2.C

 

This version changes the font color of "open" trouble tickets to brown.  It also updates the image (if you have the feature turned on)  we removed some of the help desk reloaded logos and placed a copyright statement (no we didnt remove all of them, and YES you violate the TOS if you do it yourself, we have a list of current violaters ;)  and yes we have plans for them)  We also removed a feature from the control panel that was not working (not implemented yet).

 

So this is a minor update, cleaning up some small stuff.  The next update will be BIG.

Help Desk Version 3.4.2.B

 

Corrects A Parse Error in index.html  we also corrected a few links to default.htm (removed) and repointed them to index.html.  If you are using version 3.4.2.A to 3.4.2.B so should be fine with the links.  You need version B's index.html to fix the parse error.  I would recommend just replacing index.html from versoin B.  You do not have to re-install.  If you are still using default.htm somehow, you are missing out on some great features.

Help Desk Version 3.4.1

Version 3.4.1 introduces a new keyword search system which you can optionally make available to end users via the help desk control panel.  The help desk keyword search system uses factors such as keyword density, trouble ticket page views, and a number of other factors to sort the trouble ticket results in a similar fashion as a search engine.   

 

We also have improved upon the help desk update page.  Correct plain text support for modified tickets.  We re-introduced the ability to delete priorities in the control panel.  Finally there are also a number of other problems that we corrected in the code that should make things run smoother.

This version adds the optional capability of end users to look up their past help desk calls by ticket number, and append new data to the trouble ticket.  The trouble ticket update feature can be turned on and off from the help desk control panel (see settings page, last option).  The help desk’s user manager system has also been upgraded (also in control panel), the new user manager will allow for user account password changes and many other features.  .  A login issue has also been corrected so that technicians will be able to view their past calls. The install script has also been updated and debugged

 

Also the page that updates the database with new help desk trouble ticket information has been completely rewritten and optimized.

 

This should be a good upgrade for all.  Let us know if you have any problems and we will debug them with you.

Makes it so you dont have to log back in when creating a new trouble ticket.  Also provides a link from the OCM report back to the main help desk page.

 

if you want to upgrade, just Add in hdUserreportproblem.php

and replace OCMreport.php

 

We are working on a major upgrade for next week.

Version 3.3.9 corrects a problem in 'helpDeskAccess.php'. We recommend you only replace this file on your version.  Previous 'helpDeskAccess.php' had a bug that may have prevented some configurations from posting data to the help desk database. 04-15-05 10:13 reply

It also corrects a problem with plain text not being sent when selected in the control panel as the default email trouble ticket type.
